NVD review process - have you sent in your suggestions yet?

The Vascular Society is currently working to achieve seperate speciality status. As work progresses in this area it has become clear that the NVD in its current form is not meeting all the needs of the Society and its members. In order to ensure that the NVD functions in accordance with our needs and is fit for purpose a review of the dataset is being conducted and suggestions are welcomed from NVD users. Your comments could help to improve the NVD providing members both with outcome and other data to support patient safety and revalidation. Using either of the documents below, please let us know your suggestions for how to improve the current NVD dataset.

All suggestions must be submitted by 27th May 2011 and sent to info@aaaqip.com (previous deadline extended).

To those of the NVD:

I wanted to ask why can you not fill in the radiology data on indication (acute ruptured, etc), length of infrarenal, iliac aneurysm disease, etc. for a open AAA repair. Is this not relevant for an open patient?

Also, would it make sense to link the input for "EVAR" in the GENERAL category and "Suitable for EVAR" in the INDICATIONS category because it can be assumed that the responses should be the same?
